Congrats on your new place @Hollywood, and I'm with ~Marigold~, your Peacock addition is divine, so pretty!
Your pics actually remind me of the beautiful rolling hills of Gippsland, Vic, so lush and green. 💜

We have been looking at properties for a year now, everywhere from Warragul to Yarragon, Trafalgar, Neerim South, and south of those areas. There's something very special about the hills around here, it's a very picturesque farming area. We are pretty smitten with our farm!

what is the situation with having a peacock? are they even native to aus?? I have never know anyone outside of a zoo to have a peacock as a family pet. ?? should you find a mate for the peacock?? the other birds can fly around and find a mate, does a peacock do that.?? im sorry for all the questions. I have never thought of anyone being able to keep a peacock. ?? marie.

I read somewhere that they're from India. The previous owners originally bought eight peacocks, both males and females. The others got taken by foxes, but this one must be a real survivor as it is about 8 years old. He roosts up high in one of the pine trees overnight. They don't stray from their house to find a mate, and I'm reluctant to buy one because of the risk of foxes getting it.
