    Default Rainy day craft ideas?

Looks like it'll be a day inside for DS and I today due to the crud weather!

I want to do something crafty with DS but I have a small budget (can duck out to Spotlight or Lincraft, maybe spend $20 or under on supplies if needed).

Any ideas??? DS is 2.9 years old.

Any empty cardboard boxes? Egg cartons? Toilet rolls?
You could make a "bus" from the boxes, people from the toilet rolls, and "seats" with the upside down bottom if the egg carton.
Or a worm from the bottom of the egg carton.
If you already have paints, textas etc you could probably get away without spending any money.
We save all our boxes. You'd be surprised how many foods etc all come in boxes that can be used in craft!

Painting, drawing, cutting are popular here with mr 2y8m.
    Playdough? Or salt dough ornaments?

Ds loves it when I get his small trucks/diggers in an oven tray with some uncooked rice/small pasta. Only needs like a cup. He sits for ages filling them up etc.

Xmas cards, xmas tags, does anyone have a birthday soon? Make a card?
    Finger painting, shaving cream?
