    Default Need help with traditional Australian christmas menu

    I need help!
    DH and I like to do christmas lunch with a theme, last year was American foods. This year we want to do a traditional australian christmas menu... all I've got is ham...
    So what would be traditional christmas food??

    Roast pork with crackling, potatoes and veggies with gravy.
    Lots of nuts with a nut cracker and chocked before lunch and pudding with custard for dessert.

    Modern Australian would more likely be seafood and salads I think... given it's hot over here.

    "Traditional," is probably more likely your roast and such... because we're Pom-spawn.

    I think seafood is supposed to be quite Aussie for Christmas.

    Seafood! BBQ prawns, maybe some snapper, lovely fresh salads and a lovely passionfruit pavlova to finish.. Yum yum yum

    Baked ham and a seafoood spread with a selection of salads and definitely a pavlova loaded with fresh fruit and cream!
