So the other thread about the guy asking theboysandme for her phone number got me thinking this could be a fun thread.
Has this type of thing happened to you before? How did you feel and what came of it?
It hasn't happened to me many times, these r some of the times I can remember - some flattering, some a bit creepy
I've had 2 guys contact me on fb who I didn't know AT ALL (no mutual friends etc) one was quite vulgar in his message (some s3xual content) and another said he saw my pic (no idea which ones) and thought I looked 'interesting' and he wanted to get to know me. - both times I was not single and even if I were I wouldn't have responded. I blocked both of them.
Once when I was about 19 I was at the tube station and an older Indian guy say next to me and started asking if I was married (I used to wear a ring on my wedding finger) I seem to attract Indian men of all ages as I tan quite easily and have dark hair. Lots of these times the men have been sleazy.
Other occasions I've been out drinking and guys have come to chat me up and a few have told me I should ditch my DH for them... Err... No.
That's all I can think of now

Oh can I add other stories apart from today's one??
Just letting you know I used to go out ALOT!!
I met a guy who was friends with my friends. He was really hot (!!!!) but married.... I didn't flirt with him at all but as the night went on he took a liking to me. Told me he wanted to kiss me when we were standing at the bar. I told him no and he shouldn't say that because he was married. 'Apparently' he'd never done that before.
Another friend of a friend was having drinks with us one night at a pub. We were having a good time until he started hitting in me. Unfortunately earlier in the night he took a photo of my friend and I on his phone and I asked him to send it to me ( not knowing he was going to be interested in me later in the night).
So he had my number and texted me often. I was friendly cos he was my mates mate and I even became friends with him. Until we were out one night and I was talking to a bloke and he got quite jealous. Sent alarm bells ringing and I avoided him a bit after that. He texted me asking me out one night and I lied (wrong I know) telling him I was staying in with my boyfriend. Was 20 questions after that!!! Then I bumped into him one night and I was friendly ... Went back to my table with my friends and I got a text from him when he was about 2 metres away asking me where my boyfriend was. Cut contact from then.
Went out and was talking to a group of people after a soccer match. All really nice. Anyway didn't think much of it until a couple of weeks later this guy kept saying my name whenever I walked past. I asked him how he knew me and he reminded me that I met him the night I mentioned earlier.
Then he told me he had seen me at the races with my friends (one who he knew). I was pleasant spoke for a couple of minutes them continued on with my night.
The next day I got a call from a mobile which I answered and he asked of I was me using my full name. I said it was and he told me his name - I asked if I knew him (I honestly didn't know his name and hasn't thought of him after I left the convo) he retold me the story of our meeting again.
I was really caught off guard and he kept asking questions to keep me in the phone. He told me he got my number from white pages (it's not in there) and told me he saw me walking down the street after I'd spoken to him that night with two guys (my mates from school.)
I was feeling a bit weird with it but still didn't ring alarm bells. Until another month or so later and I got a text from him at 4am saying he saw me and then I disappeared. I was home by midnight that night and really creeped out. I told him to leave me alone and thankfully he did.

My dad met my mum at a restaurant and they had a brief chat. He found out which st she lived in and door knocked the next week until he found her.
Theyve been married for 37 years with 3 kids.

I've had lots, both creepy and sweet.
The creepiest two:
I was 16 and this middle aged man decided I was a prostitute (I never dressed s!utty or anything) and used to approach me at different places around town. He would ask how much I charged, kept asking for my number and would follow me and my friends. We found out where he lived and toilet papered/egged/paint bombed his house with him watching from his window... Was silly, but it stopped him from ever harassing me again.
I worked in a retail store and a guy had a job interview there. I was polite and made small talk with him while he waited for the manager but he obviously took that the wrong way because he started spending his days walking through our store and trying to talk to me. The manager eventually told him not to come near our store again and he then waited at the back door for me to finish work that arvo.
I worked in a pub for a few years, so that entailed many creepers.
A nice one:
I used to work in a cafe and remember a really hot guy come in one day. A few days later I went to a friend of a friend's house and it was that guy's. Straight away he started telling me how he was in awe of me and wanted to ask for my number but was too nervous, so instead he wrote a song about a girl that he wanted but never had a chance with. We dated for a few months and he composed a few more songs for me

I drove to a sandwich shop up the road from work, went in and got my lunch and when I came back, a carpenter had left his business card with a note on the back saying "call me". Considering I was married and about 5 months pregnant at the time, I didn't call. I did however leave it in the cup holder of my car and would tease my husband when he was being mean that I was going to call Dave the chippy ;-)

The creepiest one happened in a taxi. The guy was normal enough, but then he started explaining how some girls like to pay for their fares by offering "other methods of payment," etc... he kept going on about it, like he was hinting I give it a go. Pfft. It's a $20 cab fare... if my box charged an entry fee is would be way steeper than that buddy!
Another cabbie hit on me as he took me home... he already had my address (since I gave it to him at the start of the trip) and then I was trapped in there with him as he asked about my relationship status, whinged to about his ex, etc etc... he then gave me his phone number that I politely took because it seemed better to accept it than decline it, being trapped alone in his car and all.
Recently I had a high schooler who worked at Subway near work try to get me to meet him at a beach over the holidays. I'm AT LEAST 10 years older than him. Made me feel dirty at first, and then awesome that a kid who's no older than 17 thought I was a bit of alright and gave me a free drink and cookie.

I worked at a Target store behind the register. Every lunch I'd sit in the park during my break. A cute guy would occasionally walk by and smile and wave shyly.
One day I was behind the register hanging clothes. The guy walked in. Did this magic trick where he lit flash paper and was holding a small flower, then he passed me the flower, smiled, and walked out. I didn't see him again after that! It was so cute/romantic, but weird that he disappeared after that

Playing pool online one night and accepted a game request from "Aussie shy guy". Played a few games, chatted whilst playing and he asked for my number to send me his picture. Exchanged photos and talked on the phone that night. Met 2 days later. He's now my husband of 2 years but we've been together almost 7 years
I'd never exchanged numbers with anyone when i'd play different games online but there was something about him!
