I thought I still had a full sheet of the mini-pill left in my drawer.. went to take one this morning and can't find it anywhere! So now I'm all out of whack and it's not even through forgetting! Have to wait for the Chemist to open.. don't know if I should just skip the whole day, or take it late.. it will be more than 2 hours out from the usual time...

Don't skip it! Take it late. The info sheet says if you miss a tablet, take it as soon as you remember (or when you get it) even if it means taking two at once. Hth.

Eta: I skipped a day once and it brought on a nasty visit from Aunt Flo within a week

The mini pill has to be taken at the same time every day. It's different to normal pill.

I'm on the mini pill it does have to be taken the same time for it to be effective but the info sheet says to take it anyway, and use protection for the next 7 days

Eta: skipping it entirely messes your cycle (or lack of it) completely

    Oh thanks

Typically, now dd is asleep so I have to wait for her to wake before I brave the vicious weather just to go to the chemist! If I wasn't so damn afraid of having another baby I'd just say forget it!

Your df will just have to keep it zipped for a little while!! If you're certain of no more babies can he go get the snip? My dh has mentioned it but I'm not ready!

Top of 7C in my area. Tornado blowing through Bass straight. Wind blowing so hard that the trees are bending in unnatural (but natural... *cough*) ways. Lots of rain that the street is a river. I need to go out there in an hour... no point taking an umbrella.

DH: it's good you've timed his nap for when you can study. You don't need me.

Idiot. I have to do that because you slack off and play golf when you're supposed to watch him so I have a whole day to study!

I was on it for 12 months. My instructions never said that. It said if not taken within a 3 hour window then you must wait until you've taken 3 consecutive pills to be protected again. No mention of taking two at once. I guess it would depend on which mini pill you're on. One of the things about mini pill is it can make your cycle unpredictable, even if taken correctly.
