Go ahead with the pizza dough recipe

I picked up a couple of large pizza bases on clearance for $1 so I might use them for lunches.

We had a pizza for lunch. Didnt realise we had no dog food so she got the left over curry and I made up a veg lasagne & a beef lasagne. I have heaps of veg lasagne left so will have that tomorrow and the boys can have their hot dogs (buying $2 hot dog rolls with dh tips)

How is everyone going with the challenge? I'm still on week 2 of 4week challenge. Having a roast beef for dinner tonight that I got from my nan and then I'm putting the leftovers in a stirfry and freezing.

Did shopping today and I'm happy to report a $30 saving. Only spent $80 on everything. It wasn't a full shop but it was replacing things that run out like salad items and fruit.

I've got a rough meal plan till Thursday next week. Tuesday is take away as I'm having dinner with a friend and my husband will get takeaway.

Our pays went in and I brought take away home last night. Then we got a pizza today! I feel gross!

    Dinner menu:
Nandos (jar sauce) chicken & veg with rice
Chops with mash & steamed veg
Homemade beef burgers with oven chips
Satay chicken & veg noodle stirfry
Sausages in bread with crunchy roast potatoes and veg

So I need to get a little meat and fruit / veg. Spent $30 today at the supermarket.

Well I spent $20.49 today. I had a normal shopping week last week so I'm going to do up a bit if a plan to iChat and see what else I need. (Just had to grab some basics & veg today).

I know I'll probably spend more than 51 cents after doing up my meal plan but I'm going to try from now on to do a $100 fortnight as opposed to a $150 for as long as I can. Which means one bigger shop then a top up shop. Means a saving of $100 a month. I'll see how I go

Tonight's dinner was lazy - toasted cheese & tomato sandwiches.
