    Default Newborn and 2 year old, double pram?

    I am due to have my baby when my little girl is 2. I am wondering if it would be wise to get a double pram? And if so can anyone recommend a good one? Thanks

    I just bought a beema duo. I haven't used it with a newbie and toddler yet, but I love it so far. Folds well, steers well, takes a strider capsule. And want anywhere near as expensive as the others.

    I am in a similar situation and just got the baby jogger city select double. It has a detachable second seat, I figure if my toddler is not in a stroller for much longer I will just sell the second seat.

    It's great to steer but a little pricey ... Worth shopping around for a second hand one or a brand new one on special..

    I have the baby jogger city select double. Got it from Winkalotts. There are in NZ but cheaper than buying here and have all the Aus standards.

    Same me and a few friends all purchased from winkalotts saved a lot

    So Mummy12 and WiseOldOwl, did you just order and have it shipped over? Did the postage cost a lot?

    Yep, they ship here all the time. Shipping was free. I got the double and a car seat adaptor for $890. The currency exchange was better when I got mine than it is now. ATM the double would cost about $895 AUD if you pay using Paypal. That still saves about $250 compared to buying here. Shipping took about a week.

    What is the car seat adaptor? Because the double is $750 at my local Baby Bunting which I baulked at paying.

    Just for another perspective OP, I didn't get a double when DS2 came along (DS1 was 2y3m). I either babywear DS2 (now 7m) and have DS1 in the pram (for a long walk), or for short trips/ shops have DS2 in the pram and DS1 walks.

    I have a mountain buggy terrain and love it and really didn't want to get rid of it (will eventually take up jogging again) and have had no worries with just a single pram with a baby & toddler.

    WOW!!! that is an incredibly low price for the double in Australia. Online Baby Bunting list the single as $899 + $249 for the second seat. I'd grab that deal.

    The car seat adaptor is so you can use a car capsule on the pram. But it is only for a few different capsules. I have the SnS Unity.
