Lol yes! Ds will happily walk with me until he spots the trolley bay then he tries to do a runner. So then I pick all 16 kilos of him up then trying to get his legs through the holes is the next mission. After all that he sits there happily...seriously why?!?

That pretty much all kids have tantrums at some point. I love that smug look that childless people get, as if they will never "allow" their child to behave like that. I always look forward to the time they do have kids so I can have a little giggle to myself when precious bub has his or her first full blown tanty lol

When a 2 year old is tired they don't just settle and sleep, they scream, make irrational demands, yell obscenities and then pass out. And wake up 3 hours later like nothing happened!

I'll still never understand why a baby can't just sleep when it's tired...like an adult. Why does it need to be taught lol.

I just asked my 8 week old the same question! She just screamed at me rather than close her eyes though haha

I wish that stopped at 2. Ds6 still does this.

Sleep is the enemy! Avoid it at all costs!

Ds even whinged that it isn't fair that he has to go to bed when the dogs get to stay up late. : /
