Raibowbabe any news on trigger? BT today right hope it is good news.
Well this is off topic but this morning I was walking my dogs along the beach where we live and my dogs were swimming a few meters off the beach when I saw fins and lots of them swimming in amongst my dogs. My first thought was panic sharks, get the dogs out of the water!!! but I soon realised it was dolphins and then they followed me swimming alongside me as we walked up the beach. It was just so magical.

Morning girls. I hope everyone is soldiering along
i will do personals tonight. I just have a couple of questions for you.
I had had my day 12 scan and nothing is happening. I have no lead follicle and my lining is around 3 mm- nowhere near where I need it.
My Fs has given me the option of starting HRT today and I will sneak in a transfer before Christmas. If I do this and become successful, I will have to continue this until 12 weeks! There is the increased risk of blood clotting too.
Option 2 is do nothing and I am to go back in on the 9th December for another scan and BT. Obviously if it doesn't thicken up my cycle is cancelled and we start anew in 2014.
I naturally ovulate late around day 16 - but he said it should be thicker by now.
What at should I do ladies? Anyone been in a similar situation or who is going through a medicated cycle? Nothing is ever easy!
Sorry for the selfish post ladies

I guess it depends on how badly you want to transfer this month. If you do option 2 then you know that the cycle might get cancelled. I did HRT last cycle because my clinic wasn't in my Town so they can't follow a natural cycle as they only come here once a month. If your okay to wait until next year then go with option 1. I am guessing if you start you on HRT now you will be on a fairly high dose as well. What does your FS recommend?

Hi Toni! No apology required :-) sorry to hear things aren't where you need them to be. I haven't been in the situation but reading through what you have written if it were me personally I would wait, it sounds like your body isn't ready for it currently but I also don't know the details of the HRT and what that does / can do.
Are you on vitamin e?
Sorry I am not much help, I can only say what I would do! Keep us posted x

Hi Toni - sorry to hear it's not going as planned, I'm on HRT tablets once a day 50mcg until yesterday where I dropped down to 30mcg and start progesterone pessaries- if you start tablets and doesn't work how long do you have to wait until you can start again? I'd be tempted to go with the FS recommendation as they should hopefully know!

Hi ladies, been a while but thought I would pop in to ask a quick question. What are your feelings on alcohol while waiting to start the next cycle? I have been off alcohol since about a month before I started my first IVF Cycle last month. I'm now HANGING for a drink and its my birthday next week. Do you think it's OK to have a drink or two before I actually start taking the meds again (At this stage 7th December).
Congrats to all those that are PUPO, have BFP's and those in the TWW.
I'm sorry for those like myself who wasn't lucky this time.
Hopeing for a Christmas MIracle

Hi lashed - I certainly treated myself in between cycles I'd go crazy if I couldn't have a glass of my favourite wine and definitely on your birthday! (I just didn't get smashed... ) once I start I don't have anything...

Definitely Lashed!!! I hadn't had a drink in nearly two years, I have stopped eating chocolate (that was hard!) and gone gluten & dairy free with my diet - we recently went away and I had what I wanted, when I wanted - even had a drink!!! I was letting this ivf business consume me, letting it go did me the world of good :-) enjoy your drinks, you deserve them!!
