Leek and parsley are good in pumpkin soup too.

I always peel a couple of red apples and put in. (not the same with green). Makes it taste totally different.

I second coriander , I love carrot and coriander soup and pumpkin soup is very similar.

Half teaspoon of cumin, one tsp of ground coriander and a shake of chili flakes. Yummo!

1/2 teaspoon ground corriander, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
