Default worried.. 19 month old speach

Hi, just wondering where your LOs were at around 19 months. DS says mum, daddy, nana (banana) star, ball and cheese! he also says bubble when he means button and belly button and he says gog instead of dog and every animal is a gog. he seems to chatter a lot but none of it really makes sense, just random sounds. I'm a little worried I know a lot of kids his age are talking more.

Boys take longer. DS had a few numbers and colors at that age.

Each child is different, your 19 month old is saying a lot more than my 20 month old DD2, but a lot lot less than my DD1 did at the same age. As long as they are responding to their name and seem to be hearing well and at least attempting to talk, then there is nothing to worry about.
