So people cant be rude to you but you can be rude to the op who is clearly in distress? How about people just stop being rude and have compassion for people and tact when replying in a highly emotive topic.

People struggle but killing the dog would resolve anything it is inhumane. Seriously, some people should just not have animals.....

Did she have money to desex the cat? I have worked with several animal rescues and they are not hard to find and contact for advice. Even some vets will help out payment plans, reduced fee....

Exactly. What a crock. Did you also read the bit about the dog being extremely well taken of? Including a good history of vetinary care when its been needed? My god it was a much loved family pet.

What in the world does having money to desex a cat have to do with anything in this thread?

I don't know what part of I have NO money as my partner has left us, people don't understand? When she got the dog FOUR years ago she had money. Now she doesn't. She didn't buy a dog with the last of her savings and then not care for it!!!!

Yes, I was thinking this too.

When Verema was euthanised after the Melbourne Cup, a lot of people were previously unaware that that is the method they use.

Some of you are making this poor women out to be the jack the ripper of animals!

God forbid it wasnt the poor kitten and was her child. Oh how your opinions who differ. The op would then be getting accused of harboring a known vicious animal.
