I think I was on it too for a bit when the induced me with ds. But its never been part of my routine check ups. Other than you having contractions im not sure why. I think monitoring you over time they may be looking for patterns in her overall health. Especially if you felt no movements for a little while.

I've been having so many problems with my levels. Doses are now 26-16-18-42. My after dinner levels have been low a few times where i have experienced borderline hypo so will have to have a chat to them today. I am hoping i can cut my diet further to help my levels but according to the docs i am not eating enough carbs as it is. Seems i can't win.

Are they aware your having lows after dinner? Logic would suggest cutting down the rapid with dinner?

I have an appointment with them today so will have a chat with them. I think that they will lower the dose. I have had two readings in four days that have been under 4.0 after dinner.

Ive never had anything close to a hypo. He warned me it may happen especially on my luchtime readings as im most active at these times. Its just a crazy balancing act to control isnt it? No matter how good your diet can be you still have these crazy hormones playing havoc and they keep increasing the further you get along. Good luck today hun.

This has been the plan since 30wks, im now curious to find out why. I went in for lack of movement myself, she has been moving fine up until then, and I didn't even think the tightenings would show. I hope they any doing them to make me feel something it's wrong with her.

That's no good, maybe you will be able to lower the dose for masks you feel doubt have enough carbs. This has been a worry for me too everything's they put my levels up. . I've only had one reading below 4, but have felt a low blood sugar feeling a few times which 2-3lollies fixes.

Also ouch your insulin must hurt I'm on 16-10-0-35 and I get to 10 and they start to sting.

They definitely do hurt now. Especially my evening one in the thigh.

Slow release Insulin has been bumped up twice in the last fortnight. Fasting level still high this morning and after breakfast has been high on and off. Think I'll be put on insulin in the mornings now. No support from husband, just grumps at me because he sees me crying over my levels. I know it's not my fault but just over it. I've been doing this since 12 weeks and am finding it so hard emotionally.

I went through that too. Nobody understands how hatd it is too be pregnant with complications unless yoy have been. The stress of injecting 4 times a day and eating strictly despite normal pregnancy cravings and hunger the stress of being invited out for dinner or lunch and not being able to eat so you becoming anti social it seems and dont go and despite doung all this your levels continue to rise and not to mention all the extra dr appointments and waiting around to bring a heathly baby into the world. Its all worth it in the end but a bit of support from hubby would be great huh?

Mine started rolling his eyes at me around 30 weeks when I had a few tears. I couldnt believe I was doing this crap again as I had gd with my son aswell. He soon snapped out of it though.

For me my fasting is always between 5.8-6.8. It is supposed to be under 5.5. I've only had 2-3 levels below that at 5.3.

Eta: im on 35 slow release at night (Lantus)
