Nope. I get a tiny little pin prick red dot. Similar to that in your finger after using the glucometer lance. It doesnt look as bad as it was on your tummy though. But still its a reaction imo. Did they say anything at all about swapping to the bigger needle to force the insulin a bit deeper to maybe counteract the surface reaction? (I dont know if this is true, but my endo told me to get bigger needles as in size 8 as the smaller ones sometimes dont go deep enough to deliver the insulin). So something to ask maybe?

Someone else suggested that too, so I'll ask tomorrow when I ring.

The reaction came up quicker. The other one took a day or more to come up, thus one has been getting redder since this morning. If it's a reaction, im expecting it to get more red and raised and more itchy.

Cold? I want to laugh, but sympathise at the same time!

I get allergies to alot of cleaning products. Also eczema, I react to the steriod creams also and once mum got me some emu oil as a miracle "cure all" for me for eczema. I then had a reaction to that, hives, which apparently is so rare as its supposed to have the same ph as water! Lol.

Yes, cold. I get hives. Even from cold IV lines. Its ridiculous. A few washing powders make me react too.

Our bodies are weird sometimes, making us allergic to things that are supposed to help us

Very true. I try not to take anything nowadays (im talking normal not utd, I dont take anything but insulin utd). Nothing harder than the odd panadol. Back in uni id get sick alot just the lifestlye factor I think. Id get alot of colds. The daytime cold and flus made me sleepy the nightime ones kept me awake so I reversed it and viola!
