To the ladies who are taking/took Gonal f injections any tips?
Did you numb with ice before or what did you find that helped you?

Yeah I am feeling what your saying Mrs Furbabies, mine mainly my nipples have been reallysensitive since before epu, iI'm now wondering if its the progesterone keeping them sore and they def are bigger, I have sml boobies so any change is noticable lolbeen having a bit of cramping today aswell so that too is probably the progesterone.
Anyone hear back from Rainbow2013 about that frer?

I iced and would never do another one without it, I used ice packs as its less messy
Another thing I might add is most of us that had lowish numbers at epu had great fertilization rates, so def quality over quantity, the proof is in the pudding!!!

I've been reading all your posts daily (several times a day) for a while now!! I've been wanting to post something but as I'm new to the site I wasn't sure if I should!! But I keep reading all your supportive posts and thought I'd join in!! I've just ten minutes ago had my first Puregon injection!! It's our first cycle and we are doing ICSI.
Hubby did my injection for me and it didn't hurt at all. It was really emotional though as I'm sure you can all imagine. Xx

Babygirl7 - Welcome, I iced the area before all the injections except the last one (Oviderel/trigger - mainly because i had the ****s because I had to cancel the cycle due to another medical issue) but that last bruised the worst, all the others may have been a tiny bruise if any, but the one i didn't ice is about a 3cm circle, and it does help numb the area but you may have to push the needle in a little more, they don't really hurt, & I don't like needles.
Did you know you had PID the whole time you were trying, 8 years is a long time!
Good luck with everything
Stephamer - Welcome to the group, the ladies are very welcoming, it's great to have a support network like this, as I really don't think no matter how much other people may empathise unless they go through it they don't seem to really "get" it.
Good luck with your journey, and i hope it is a quick one!
