I'm faaaaar too tired and exhausted to try SMEP, but will test ovulation with an OPKS and as soon as I see the faintest line we will BD every second day until I get the dark line and it disappears.

That more than we did with DD, and we conceived her first month trying.

Hi Leisylou, my mum had me when she was 44, no complications with the pregnancy and that was over 30 years ago when ivf was pretty much didn't exist. I think that "caring about your patient's feelings" should be a mandatory class for doctors! I think getting pregnant has is a little bit of timing and a lot of luck, and if you and your partner's egg and sperm have already met up twice then why couldn't it happen again! Wishing you lots of babydust

Hi Funchu, can you please add me to test on 1 Dec?

    Hi all,

I will be joining you for December - cycle 7 for us and we're trying for our first.

Bitterly dissapointed to be here, I'd been so positive for November. Here's hoping we will get an extra special Christmas present this year. Please put me down for the 17th.

Thanks Tabbytee!! Yes, we can be testing buddies - can't wait :-)

I'm obsessively doing OPKs now, just got my very first pack yesterday and am POAS twice a day to see if I can pinpoint ovulation. Haven't used them before, but I figure I have to do something or I'll go crazy - although I wonder if I'm setting myself up for disappointment if they don't pick up anything?

Today is CD11 and when I fell last time it was on CD9, so am testing early just in case, although from CM last month it seems I ovulated on Day 15 - it's just I was overseas and DP was at home, so no sperm to be had!

Let's see if we can get BFPs on the same day!!
