    Default Birthdays

It seems ever since i became a parent i just consider my birthday another day. It doesnt bother me anymore. I do the same thing i do every other day. Id get much more excited over my sons birthday then my own My birthday is on friday and all im expecting is a cup of tea in bed and a sleep in.. Maybe hehe.

Curious to know if any other mums think the same about their birthday

No way! I want to be spoilt and pampered! I work damn hard at being a mum, I deserve to be made number one for the day.

My sons birthday is the day before mine so we are usually exhausted and partied out by my birthday the next day. Wouldn't change it for the world though.

This, but a little bit different. Second daughters birthday is 3 weeks before mine, oldest daughters birthday is 1 week before mine and third daughters birthday is 9 days after mine.... By the time my birthday rolls around I don't even remember until someone rings or mentions it to me!! For me it's just another day. Hubby and the kids usually do something for me/get me something but if be just as happy if nobody remembered lol.

I think the novelty of birthdays dies off by the time you hit your teens.

Your kids b'days are alway fun and exciting though.

I don't get excited by my birthday at all, I actually get embarrassed bub the attention.

I look forward to my children's birthdays and love planning their presents and cake. I love the look on their faces when they open their presents.
