Recommended to me by a relative, so not through an agency. I think you tend to get better people privately.

A lovely lady through I found through Gumtree. I pay her $15 per hour and I provide supplies. She pretty much sets her own hours, currently seeming to be typically Mon & Thur 10-1, but does vary. It will likely return to three days a week when she has more availability.

When she is unavailable, she will send her mother instead (who is more effective, so that's a win for me). Occasionally they'll both come to get the job done quicker, or if I have a major task to do I'll request for them both to come and it will happen within a week.

She mainly does dishes, kitchen, vacuuming, and the little one's room, and occasionally mopping. Her mother usually does dishes, kitchen, vacuuming, toilet, bathroom, and sorting clean laundry.

It seems to work well for all concerned. Sometimes I am there and help, other times I am there but doing other things, and other times I am out.

$50 for 2 hours. Uses our stuff. Cleans floors, bathrooms, dusts, makes beds and neatens everything up.

    I love her

$32 an hour but uses all her own cleaning supplies. Does mopping, vacuuming, both bathrooms and dusting. Will also wipe down walls and wipe down kitchen appliances.
