    Default So true...parenting rage

What those people who comment dont realise is after these melt downs the mother will almost always go home and cry and feel terrible about what shes done. She is harder on herself than ANYONE could be!!!!

This is a normal part of raising children (obviously to a certain extent)

Its an interesting topic that's for sure. Before I had children I used to listen to the woman a few doors up scream at her kids and think "nutcase" "doesn't deserve children" as someone who was struggling with several miscarriages this was a justified thought in my mind. Fast forward three years and I can now relate. I am still not saying it is okay to be violent with children (as a mandatory reporter in my previous work this is close to my heart) but I can now understand that sometimes we have adult tantrums - moments of irrational behavior which we no doubt regret later. For me I recently noticed I was always irritable and impatient, so I reflected on myself and realized I needed to cut out some stress. I quit my job to stay at home and am already feeling like a different person
