Hi there,
I know I am being super paranoid symptom watching...
But I started getting sharp stabbing pains in what I assume to be the area where my left ovary is.
I think I am 6dpo (maybe 7) and I dtd 5days and 3 days before o and on what I think was o day.
It does not feel like cramping and it comes and goes. Sometimes just aching for a little while before the stabbing pain starts.
The pain isn't excruciating but it's enough to stop me in my tracks and catch my breath.
Has anybody had any experience with this or something similar?
Btw I did a hpt last night (Bfn - no surprise there)
I know, I know, I can't help it...

Hi ms cate
At the risk of getting your hopes up(!) yes I did feel exactly what you're describing with my first. I think I tested 4 days later and had a BFP. It was actually my first clue that I might be pregnant, then the boobs got extremely sore shortly after. I put it down to implantation??? But that was just a wild guess!

Thanks careermum, that's reassuring!
I am a little worried it might be an ectopic...
I do have a son so I have been pregnant before but that was a long time ago (ds is 12) and I was quite young. Now that I am a bit older and actually ttc - I have been over examining everything.
This pain is new though, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best :-)
I know, I know, I can't help it...

I also stressed greatly re ectopic as I've had a reversal. You wouldn't get symptoms of an ectopic that early. I've been told generally no symptoms before 6 weeks.
If your ttc you are probably hyper aware of everything
Try not to stress & don't google lol
