It's not that I don't mind his approach will probably hopefully keep me calm and funnily he is a ivf specialist and the director of the company plus his the husband of my FS. I guess if I asked I probably would of got one but I didn't. I will just wait it out only 9 more days till 12 week scan.
I annerley i cannot believe it either 11 weeks on Monday woo hoo not long now and we will be in our 2nd trimester. I get the dizzy symptom in the morning makes it hard to get up for work. I think it was worse this morning since I have hardly had anything to eat and or much to drink due to vomiting and migraine over the last few days. I asked DH to make me toast whilst in bed and I said I wanted butter and cream cheese he thought I said peanut butter and cream cheese on the same piece of bread and I was eating I thinking why does it taste like peanut butter lol not a great combination I tell you lol

As long as your happy and comfortable that's the main thing. Not long to go till your 12 week scan then. Did you get your bloods done yet? It's all very exciting!

Riss- my FS gave me my blood test referral for a place that bulk bills, she did mention some other places do charge though! How much will it cost you? It's a bonus if you get a scan. I'm going to get mine done this Friday as apparently I just have to go a week before the NT scan. I don't even have to make an appointment for the bloods, I can just drop in before work.
Heartstringz- hope everything is going ok!
Spidery- thanks for the warning about not trying peanut butter and cream cheese haha! I love them both separately but couldn't imagine them together! I must confess that I went shopping today and picked out the pram and car seat I want, I won't buy them yet but the local baby shop is having a sale so just went for a look- there was a really helpful lady working there so I took advantage of her recommendations and will have to go back later down the track. I can already tell that ill probably have everything we need by the time we are 6mth along, I can't wait!
Chiefsgirl- good luck for Monday! I'm really hoping it's the news you have been waiting for, I have everything crossed for you!

Annerley- I think you are doing the maternal bloodtest screen. I did that last time and it was bulk billed too. They use that combined with the nt scan to give you the risk of downs. Eg 1:2000
I'm doing the new test it's called the panorama or verifi NIPT. They send your blood test to the USA to get the test done. They extract the baby's DNA from my blood and look at the chromosomes. So it's a more definite test for downs and other trisomys. That's how they can get the gender. It costs a lot $800 but can get as high as $1200 in some places. It's only new in Australia and it's not covered by Medicare yet. Usually it's recommended in high risk cases. Maybe because I'm now 35 she recommended it but it was our choice to do it we could have just done the one you are doing. Hoping that everything will come back clear
That's so good you picked your pram. It's so exciting. I have had two in mind since my last pregnancy. I'm itching to buy something but will be holding off buying anything till very late.

That's right, Riss- I'd forgotten that you'd mentioned on the other forum that you were doing that test. Hope the results come back quick! Can't wait to know if it's a boy or girl

Thanks for the wishes everyone. FS seems to think the spotting isn't a big deal & it seems to have almost stopped at this stage. everything is good. I can go in on Monday for a check if I need to, otherwise I'll wait till the 9th which is my next scan.

Hi ladies, thanks for thinking of me. My clinic doesn't do blood tests, just poas, and it's Monday. No sign of AF yet and as I've been on pregnyl I can't do any cheeky poas earlier!
Have just been to my brothers wedding and danced the night away!
