Two Mummys! That is so exciting. Hopefully you and your partner can get stuck in to things straight away and you get your BFP first go. At least with IVF you know sperm met egg and everything is where it should be. I got DP to give me needles because she's very gentle and had a few heart issues and has spent a lot of time getting needles so she knows how to give them painlessly. All the needles I had and I didn't get a single bruise! We didn't even bother with ice or anything. Let us know how your appointment goes!

JustJaq, you have no idea how slowly time is dragging... Each day I hope today is the day... But nothing! I had some spotting at 9 weeks but that was all. We freaked and got an ultrasound that day and bub was oblivious to our stress, bouncing around peddling her legs. The 12 week scan was probably my favourite. I'm glad to hear that symptoms aren't affecting you too bad. My first trimester was called "the exorcism" because of how violently ill I was. It's weird but at 38 weeks I'm starting to feel morning sick again...

Hope everyone else is doing well. Thinking of you all.

Two mummies.... CFC were lovely. We had an appointment with them a year ago before we moved to Melbourne. Good luck!!!

Best things... I can't believe you're almost there! Wow!!!!! You must be so excited.

just Jaq.... Are you completely bursting to tell people?

We are just wanting tomorrow to come so I can have my blood test. I've been too scared to test again since our negative on Friday morning. No sign of AF yet but I normally have long cycles. Anyway, not feeling too confident but still hopeful.

Thanks Best Things. Unfortunately it was as I suspected a BFN. The nurse was quite surprised I hadn't already started with AF. So now the Dr has said he wants to try a natural thaw cycle but I have such irregular cycles I'm a bit unsure how that will work. Has anyone been through that? I have PCOS so my cycles vary from 35-50 days!!!!
I'm feeling very grateful that we have so many little embies in the freeze... Onward and upward! It's champagne and soft cheese for dinner tonight!

Sorry to hear Natta, sometimes I think that being about to POAS really helps prepare you mentally for the news of a BFN. I'm really unsure about the process of a natural FET but I have heard that FET's have a higher chance of sticking than fresh. In saying that though, here is sit 39 weeks pregnant with our first fresh IVF cycle.

Good luck Two Mummys! Be kind to yourself and DP this month. IVF is not fun but the possible end result is so, so worth it. I remember our cycle and we were so excited! I hope you get loads of little embies and the perfect one to transfer. Has your FS talked about 5dt vs. 3dt?

Sorry about the BFN Natta. I did a natural FET, it was just bloods for monitoring and an ultrasound to confirm ovulation just like an IUI cycle. Then ET 5 days after ovulation. Do you ovulate on your own even though you have irregular cycles? We missed a month to let everything reset, as the cycle after the fresh can be a bit weird!

Good luck starting IVF two mummys

AFM I'm 9wks 4days...all good but hoping the all day nausea doesn't last too much longer! Need to eat all the time too....
