Chiweeny - I don't think there are any rules about when you can make love. That being said DP and I didn't for a while after just because we were both very paranoid.

Flower - I'm jealous as they come! The snow monkey tour is the best, best, best! I really hope you like it as much as DP and I did. Make sure you take a good camera! We got some amazing photos and actually ended up making a book about our trip to Japan.

Hope everyone is doing good and travelling well.
AFM - Had the baby shower on Sunday and it was so nice. We invited family and friends who we are very close to and had such an amazingly relaxing afternoon. We sat around, ate good food, had good conversation and everyone we invited came! I am 34 weeks pregnant and feeling good. Will probably start washing bubba's clothes and bedsheets in the next few weeks and pack a bag.

Hi, how's everyone going, any updates?hope everyone is going well.

Best Things your baby shower sounds perfect, glad you had a good time. We are counting down to Japan now, one week til we leave!

Had our first ultrasound today at 6 weeks and measuring right on track, little flickering heart beat at 136/min and we were so happy to see it! Nausea has started and a bit tired but all manageable so far

Hi ladies! Just wanted to share!!!

Chase Finn arrived on 25FEB14 at 1041. 6 pounds 14 ounces. 49cm long. He is just amazing!!!!

Just wanted to share and say the journeys you are all on.... Stick with it because the prize at the end is totally worth it. I had a bumpy TTC journey and especially with a needle phobia doing up to 4 injections a night... I look back and it's all a distant memory.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing all the BFP's & babies to come!!!

    xx

Things are starting to get a bit real for us, we chose our donor over the weekend and have ordered our little swimmers. I have a minor procedure on Monday then onto the pill ready to start IVF as soon as my next cycle starts! It's finally starting to feel like we are getting to start the process, fingers crossed for a BFP in the coming months!

That's so wonderful to hear TeeMM! I remember that process as though it was yesterday, sitting on the couch with DP eager to start the process. I hope the journey isn't long for you and pray you get your BFP soon. It certainly is a crazy ride of emotions but well worth it when bub is in your arms.

AFM, 37w 2d pregnant... Hope this little girl comes out soon! So many people are very eager to meet her. Her Mama and I are getting more and more impatient each day. No idea what labour feels like... I wish I had a crystal ball so we knew whether we'll be waiting days or weeks to meet her!

Hope all you ladies are travelling well!

    Hi lovely ladies,

I know I've been a bit quiet but I've been trying to limit my 'online' time! I've just read through and caught up though. What a wonderfully exciting year everyone has already had! Biggest congratulations on all the BFPs and little Chase is GORGEOUS! For those just starting out GOOD LUCK!!!!

Just thought I'd update you all on our progress. We've just been plodding along, taking each step as it comes and somehow it seems we have arrived at EMBRYO TRANSFER day!!!!!! It's all come up quite quickly. It's funny, a month or so ago it all felt so far away and here we are. Amazing.

So the injections weren't too bad although DP had to administer them as I was too scared :-( I felt pretty tender which was no wonder as they collected 27 eggs!!! Had to have IV fluids and pain relief and the nurses have been checking in every day to monitor for OHSS but so far so good. I've been VERY bloated and extremely blocked up (sorry TMI) but I've managed to remain well which is great. Yesterday we heard that there were 17 little seeds still hanging in there and the Dr is hoping for around 7 quality embryos to make it to today (day 5).

We are thrilled, excited, scared, giggly and amazed. Of course we know this little embie still has to stick but we have everything crossed that it will nuzzle in and stay comfortably!!

Anyway, long update but like I said, I've been having a break from the internet... I was going a bit batty reading about all the possibilities and decided I needed to focus just on us for a while. But I'm back! So HI!!!
