Thanks MrsErinR. I am a little excited but like everyone here, we know just how high the risks are & the many more milestones to reach from here I think i'll do a little happy dance when i hear the heartbeat. I hope you are hanging in there ok.

Great news Threegoes! Congratulations!! Great first HCG numbers

Not much to report from me... I have nothing to do fertility wise until March which I am not used to - I'm used to jabbing, supplementing, temping, sniffing etc. but not just doing nothing! It's going to be a long 3 months I think lol.

I had a long drive today with DH and I'm listening to Mary Coustas's audiobook at the moment so decided to continue on with that - to my surprise he was really enjoying it as she was describing her many failed attempts at IVF over the years and eventually moving onto donor eggs (we just got up to that bit so are saving the next chapter for the drive home tomorrow)... it was funny MrsErin she mentioned she saw a 'Greek fertility specialist in Melbourne once' who said to her "you want a baby in a cot? Use donor eggs. " I couldn't help but think it might be your FS ... It's a great 6read/listen if you're looking for something .. .but I know its going to get very sad as I saw the 60 mins episode.

    Em x

Wonderful news threegoes I know its hard to keep your feet on the ground cant wait till monday.

Went shopping today and DH doesnt know but I have a stash of baby things I have been buying for my little sis. Its funny how I initially had hangups about DE not being biologically mine but already I love her baby boy who is due in march and I havnt even seen her belly since 16 weeks how could I not love one I grew myself. Secretly though I am buying the clothes hoping she can give them back to me for my baby heh. Oh well I do get a bit of an outlet checking out the clucky stuff. She is only 21 so has potential to be my donor but I think DH wouldnt go for it and I think im preferring anonimity now over being related. Shes my half sis.

Hi everyone hope the christmas mania has not taken hold. Butterfly how are you?

I really want to go for a followup on my scan but I guess i might as well wait to see fs now that I lost 2+ weeks drowning in work and xmas/new year shutdowns there goes another week or so

Em I couldnt imagine my hubby listening to an audiobook like that with me...he already thinks everything on tv has something to do with babies and everyone he sees is having one. Some kind of conspiracy. Even the show modern family, gloria was pregnant and the gay boys were trying to adopt heheh

Thanks Em, MrsMac & Team Panda. I was 12 days post transfer. The clinic said they like it around 50 & were quite happy with the result. I was unsure. With my DD I had 550 for the first test but then it was twins at that stage. I know that I shouldn't put much emphasis on the first one... It all comes down to how it increases. Bring on Monday.
Em, I didn't realise Mary had released a book, I must get it. I hope you & DH are having a nice weekend away.... You both deserve it.

Congratulations threegoes! Looking forward to hearing your results tomorrow!

Be prepared to cry reading Mary's book. Such a sad story. So happy she has finally been blessed with her little miracle.
