We had a lovely afternoon of trick or treating! I did the letterbox drop with balloons and string. In the early afternoon I got a knock on the door from a woman who told me that she wasn't going to put the balloons out because her 2 dogs would scare the children but she thought the card and balloons were so lovely she bought some sweets over for my children!!
About a half of the residents put the balloons out, yah!! There was an abundance of zombies. DS and DD are big wusses so we kept the scary factor to a minimum in regard to their costumes.

Some of the kids were hilarious.
We had one kid who told us he was 'Satan's Apprentice Ninja Assassin'. He complained that he thought his pillow case should be full of lollies by now. He told us he 'even went into the rich territory but no one was home'.
I'm not sure where the rich territory is, but I'm guessing we don't live in it

Zombie-Eyes your stuff looks amazing!
I had a rough week but managed to pull a few things together for the little time we were actually home for.
I made Colcannon (with money in it) for Dinner.
I took a chance with the witchey finger cookies and they were welcomed!
And we had some door knockers, only 2 sets, the first was two lovely girls of about 11, they really made an effort with their costumes and the second set weren't even dressed up! Shameless little maggits!
