Nope not really. I leave my porch light on with a sign that we have candy and hand out candy. That's it. Done that for many years the only year we went out trick or treating DS was 1 (see picture)ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1381567202.745049.jpg I don't do decos too much clean up after and I'm lazy

Yep! Even though ds is too young to do it we get loads of neighborhood kids around so going to decorate with some ******ers and dress up to give out treats any reason for a celebration and a bit of fun!

Our street does trick or treating.. If you are participating you leave something on your letter box, the kids love it and its a great way to meet the neighbours

I tie a black and orange balloon to my letterbox and let kids know I'm participating :-)
Some kids around here and lazy and knock wearing their school uniforms expecting treats, but it's still hard to say NO!
I love Halloween and when I see shops participating.

Ds is to young to do it probably next year we will take him. But we have probably got 20-30 kids on our street and every year we get a note in our letter box with a ballon and some string, if you want to participate then tie it on your letter box. I do it every year with some decos up out long drive way.

We always have lollies ready because heaps of kids in our area do it. It's so cite to see them dressed up!
We'll dress dd up and take her along our street this year... it would suck for her of we didn't and saw all the other kids doing it.
Slightly OT, but I find it weird that some people drive their kids to areas where they don't live to get lollies.

I will have the usual big bucket of lollies waiting at the door so my kiddies can hand them to the kids that turn up (hopefully some turn up ) as we haven't lived in this neighbourhood before.
Loved what you have done already Zombie_eyes as some of my my fondest childhood memories are of going to my friend's house where the Mum was as creative as you and used to have a Halloween party and did all sorts of amazing stuff/games/decorations etc. We had a ball as my parents weren't into the whole Halloween thing.
