    Default Banana

How do you keep pureed banana? And how long does it keep for?

I'd put it in an air right container in the fridge in the morning and get what was needed as needed. At the end of the day I'd throw out the remainder.

You can mash it and put it in ice cube tray and freeze. Then defrost as many as you need. You can also freeze the whole banana but I would have to be super organised to get one out with enough time to thaw before mealtime. Uh, not me!

I always travelled with a banana and a fork and mashed it on the go. You can keep the peel on and cut banana in half and just use one half, that way the other half is good for tomorrow, less the very top. It's not worth keeping once you've had it out a while but you can always freeze it if it hasn't started to go brown. Never re-freeze thawed food though!
