    Default "Housewife" failure - Help!

DH bought a new pair of shorts on the weekend and I cut the tags of before I washed them, but accidentally left the little black threads on. They ran in the wash and there's this blue black mark on the butt.
I've scrubbed it with a paste of napisan, soaked it over night and through the day yesterday, scrubbed it again today and washed it in a cold wash. It faded a little. Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can fade it more? We so rarely find shorts for DH that we both love - and these ones look awesome on him!!
    I'm bummed I ruined them

Can you try that Dylon colour run stuff?

I've always found that it works pretty well..
