    Default Gift Ideas

I thought I would start an open thread for people to post in and get some gift suggestions.

I need help with DS's teachers. His teacher loves gardening, recycling and coffee. I probably want to avoid buying a plant as I am sure she will receive quite a few of them. I am on the lookout for something unique. Even suggestions for shopping websites would be great.

His other teacher is lovely but I don't have any idea about her lifestyle. So I suppose some nice suggestions would be appreciated. I probably would like to avoid food. I have a $50 budget for each of them.

I'm after some gift ideas for my friend who lives overseas. It has to be fairly light & easy to post as it's going to the UK & postage is pretty expensive.

We've done the jewellery & key-ring thing heaps of times but I'm really stuck for other ideas.
