    Default 2nd Opinion?

I'd really love some feedback on your experiences with getting a second opinion. Our 5th cycle has just failed and although I think very highly of my fs, I do wonder if it's time to speak to someone new to make sure we are not missing anything. We are at City Fertility, Melbourne and I'm wondering about seeing someone at Monash (any suggestions?). I've had 3 chemical pregnancies (2 natural, 1 ivf) that have all been lost at around 12dpo, I just feel like my body rejects embryo's as soon as it registers them, so frustrating.

Definitely get a second opinion and find a fs that believes in natural killer cells. I am in Brisbane but hopefully someone can recommend a fs in Melb. Good luck.

Hi, I see dr Nick Lolatgis at Monash and he is very proactive at looking for causes for problems and also actively treats elevated Natural killer cells as a cause for implantation failure. I think he is one of the very few in Australia who do. Feel free to PM me if you'd like more information.

Yep Nick or Lynn Burmeister, get a second opinion, CFC don't do much testing at all which is why I left after 4 failed cycles and one super failed FET.

Lynn Burmeister is one of the best in Melb. Huge waiting list though so make sure you ask to go on the waiting list for a cancellation. Monash has the best success rates in Melbourne I believe.
