DH just went off to an NRL final party (I am totally uninterested in it). I am all for him going to the party, hope he has fun. DH has to walk there. About 1km. He didn't take his phone as it was flat. He left it charging. He got a message. "Where are you?" from our male neighbour and mate "Kev." I used DH's phone and text back- "He's walking down, phone is charging." Kev then texted back. "Your so hot." WTF? I would assume Kev is drunk already....How do I approach DH with this one?? I didn't reply. HELP?

Weird dilema...what do I do?

Just leave it. Your hubby might be ok with his mate thinking you are hot. Leave it on his phone for him to read tomorrow.

Tell him tomorrow when he is back home... And sober (so no getting cranky while under the influence).

I would have replied: "You're".
Sorry, in all seriousness, I would just leave it and show him in the morning.

Depending on your DH. If it was mine I'd say
"(Insert DH name) here. Sorry mate you're not my type. Lol"

I would just say 'look what Kev sent me' and show him. It's on his phone so he's going to see it straight away anyway, right? I dunno some people have a weird sense of humour/turn of phrase. He may have just meant thanks? One of DPs friends used to say 'you're a goddess' instead of thank you if I cooked or took his washing off the line, etc (we were all in a share house, not a polygamous relationship, lol)

I would tell DH that Kev thinks he is hot! My DH would think it was hilarious, just depends on your DHs sense of humour I guess.

How confusing lol! Could it have actually been your DH sending the message/ as a joke, or would he not have made it to the party already?
