Default Toddler seat or double pram??

Hi, I am after some advice... I have a son and expecting another at the end of March. I already have an Emmaljunga Classic pram which I love and was thinking of getting the toddler seat. My son will be almost 2 by the time the baby arrives. I am worried now that maybe he won't get much use from the toddler seat due to weight restrictions (how strict are these) and I was also concerned that he may still want to be able to recline etc. What are peoples thoughts and experiences with their own kids with a gap of around 2 years?? Thanks heaps!

id just get something with a toddler board. if he's sleepy you can always put bubs in a sling and he can have a nap.

I used a double stroller, given to me for free! I uses it maybe 4 times? But found bub in sling and toddler in normal stroller was easier. 6mths down the track toddler wanted to walk everywhere. Glad I didn't spend money!

I bought a double pram but didn't use it much. Toddler never wanted to sit in the pram, and I found it hard to push because of the weight imbalance. I would get a toddler seat or board.

I have 19 month age gap and bought a valco double pram, best thing I have bought!! My DS 2yrs still likes to sleep while we are out, it is great cos both sides recline or sit up, it has separate shade covers.

Just got home from a 2 wk holiday doing theme parks, shopping etc i couldn't of done it without the double pram.

I bought a city select with toddler seat as my two were 19 months apart.

I found it invaluable, but our toddler seat is the same as the baby seat so it didn't have any weight restrictions etc.

We still use it as the boys are nearly 4 and 2.

I'm loving my city select ( only have 1 bub so far ) but have played with the pram and put the other seat on and it will work really well
