Colbie I'm sorry to hear you lost a baby and I can understand why both of you feel the way you do. Men and women are so different. You want to fill that home in your heart and he's scared. He won't show it. Maybe he doesn't want to see you so sad again and is a bit funny about it? Either way my partner is the same about TTC. He wants kids and he said if we waited until the perfect time it may never happen but he isn't excited. I go on and on about some cute cloth nappies I'm getting custom made or talking about when that time comes and sometimes it feels like I'm the only one that wants this( hopefully when we do have a bun in the oven and he can see it on ultrasound maybe it'll kick in I don't know) but just go ahead with your plan. He will come around and if it makes you happier it'll make him happier

Long day here. Spent the day on my feet at a coaching course to regain my accreditation (I'm coaching a little athletics club again this season). Looks like I've got a paid coaching job out of it though so that's pretty cool

Had a pretty good weekend. Enjoyed seeing DP go crazy over baby stuff at the show and then was uni work all weekend.
Kind of not looking forward to the week though. Will be without a car DP is working on the other side of Sydney, can't wait till we get a second car.

We had a beautiful day and yes the weather in perth was gorgeous. We went for a big morning walk with our dog and DS. Had brekky at our fave bakery cafe and then trawled the markets. Popped over to DH's parents to catch up and then home to relax and get a few jobs done- I rearranged both our wardrobe and DS'. For some reason I find that kind of stuff relaxing and satisfying lol. And there was a bit of study in there too- I have a big assignment due tomorrow. Nearly finished it!

Some great weekends. Ours was quite nice but I've been overly emotional! To the point I started crying yesterday and when DH asked me what was wrong I wouldn't tell him but instead told him I just wanted to keep crying as it felt good. Yeah I'm a weirdo! I think AF is due soon although I don't usually get this emotional! I guess I never used to be this tired which makes me a mess to.
I am so excited, I don't have to go out for the next 2 days! Which I realise I haven't gone out in the last 2 but I like days during the week at home relaxing! Plus even going to the local deli is a 10 min drive and going to the real shop is at least half an hour and I can't be bothered!
DS has been a pain on and off the last little while but he has started this injured soldiers crawl where he uses his arms and 1 leg to pull himself along. And he's also nearly got his top 2 teeth so there's a lot going on for him!!
Colbie I'm sorry to hear of your angel babe and how it's affecting DH. I'm sure it's probably a case of there'll never be a 'right' time for him. I'm sure it's been mentioned before but for a late comer - what are you studying??
Rainbow that is so exciting!! Fingers crossed for you it's soon!!
Michelle I hope you slept well
Happy Monday ladies!!

Geez typical, soon as I leave Perth the weAther turns good lol. We fly to the SUNSHINE state and it rains!! Lol :-/
Our weekend wasn't too bad, landed in brissy at 8pm fri, saw some family then landed back here 8pm last night. I've had a headache for 3 days now and the drugs arent helping it. Not doing so great over that :-/
On a positive note DH is doing so well not smoking! The whole weekend we were home drinking and being around chain smokers and he only had maybe 2-3. I thought it was going to be much worse than that! So proud. When home and in his normal routine he's having maybe 1-2 a week !! :-)
