Yeah just look up some tutorials and try it out on smaller pieces. Otherwise I'm sure you could get someone to make it ( to the size of your cot in your chosen colours and then use maybe wood glue to attach it to the ends. You could also get hubby or someone to sand down the cot ( if it's wood) and paint it to match.

Oh no crafty why do you have to sell them? MrsT that's great news about it not being neural!

I thought I would upload some more pics of what I was talking about as well as a quote we want to use. Lets face it, who doesn't like looking at baby/nursery stuff?!

I love that giraffe one, I've had my eye on one like that.
We were really into making the nursery AMAZING. Then we got realistic; want to be able to keep same stuff for different sex if possible, and we will be renting still most likely. And they really aren't in a "nursery" for long before it becomes a "bedroom". So we are being a little more realistic I think....

It's true that they aren't in a nursery for very long but I think that a jungle theme room for a toddler/small child is still okay and same with a nature theme for a girl. They can grow into them too We won't be in this home for many more years but its fun to decorate for now and by the time the new place is built we will change the theme. The next bub will go into another room as well so we will just start from scratch with them. We will be using white furniture and second bub will just re-use providing the first one is out of it (we want them close in age).

You girls have inspired me. I think I will look into how to DIY.

Crafty hope all is well. It's always upsetting when you have unexpected expenses!

MrsT that's a pretty unique nursery. What's on the walls??

Rainbow - I love the cherry blossom decals.

Here are some more nursery ideas I like:

I never really had 'themed' or decorated rooms growing up. My parents aren't very creative and putting things on walls was a big no no (even though they owned the house).

So I've always wanted it for my kids and house. I figure if you have to repaint the room when they're 5 or change the decor it'll be even more fun!
