Just recording on Foxtel a docco called Baby Makers: The Fertility Clinic on Lifestyle you. Very interesting, shows all the processes we all went through like what happens inside the embryologist lab (even what they called the 'masturbatoriums' haha aka the sperm collection rooms 😆)!

You're welcome Jay
Wish we really don't have a definitive nickname at the moment - it was blob in the early days, but she's definitely not blob like now!
Ever since we found out we're having a girl DH has been calling her princess - one of our dogs looks rather indignant when he's talking to my belly since he calls her (the dog) "princess puppy"!!

Congrats on your scan results Nirok! Glad to see bubs is doing well.
good to hear from you Wish. Have you gone on your big trip yet?
We have a few names for baby- bubs, blobbie ( can't use that anymore) and now Eggbert. I am due on Good Friday, Easter eggs, it was an egg so Eggbert seems to have stuck. Silly really.

Hi Wish! Great to hear from you. How are you doing??
We call ours "tyke" from the Tom and Jerry because our names relate to the cartoon. So Tyke is the little puppy of the bulldog Spike. Silly but we liked the whole cartoon theme
Last night tonight with DH before he's away again for 11 days. Lots of travel between now and Chrissy. Miss him lots.
On a positive note...We meet the midwives tonight at our hospital. They're giving a talk. Excited about our first "baby" talk together.

I must be one of few who doesn't have a nick name yet. I'm still not at the stage where I'm comfortable talking about it so we never really do. I guess it goes back to my childhood where we didn't name things that we're going to die like orphaned lambs and anything headed for the freezer. Sounds a bit morbid but I haven't allowed myself to become attatched yet. Today I have my first Ob appointment so maybe once we talk about things it might change.

So good to hear from you wish.. x
Our name is Mini Bubs as we call each other Bubs and it just sounded right My niece did name it 'little pea' after I showed her the scan at 7 weeks.. But little pea is no longer a pea its now more like an orange! Lol
My MIL is so certain we're having a girl she already gave me the most gorgeous little pink shoes and matching top.. She saw a clairvoyant just before we started IVF and she told her we were having a girl.. We'll see I guess.. DH is still not giving in and wants to know. 20 week scan booked for 18 December.. Early bday present for me which is on the 19th
Hope you are all well.. Sorry to hear about all the family issues xx

What a gorgeous little bub Nirok! I too have a sub chorionic bleed/burst vessel. Scary isn't it? Hopefully seeing your bub growing well helped ease your mind. I've been on bed rest for over two weeks (the. hardest. thing. ever.) and lots of medication and my last three scans show the bleed is shrinking. Fingers crossed that with some rest yours will heal well too x
