Oh no seahorse. So sorry. Sending u big hugs.
Jay. What a great hubby! Sounds like u had a great time !
JJ. Yay! For perfect test results!!! Must be a relief. Hope ur scan goes well tomorrow. How exciting to see bub.
AFM. I am sooo tired. Exhausted. And constantly yawning. I get to lunch time then it's all downhill. Just going to the staff toilets today left me short of breath. And I'm not an unfit person. No other symptoms at the moment tho.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their pregnancies. Hugs to those dealing with bad news.

Seahorse I am so so sorry. My heart breaks for you. I was hoping with all my heart that I would be the last of the bad news on this thread. My thoughts are with you x

Seahorse and hposs,
Such sad news - I am so sorry for your losses and wish you both a speedy recovery. Whilst we never really fully heal emotionally from these experiences, day by day it gets easier to deal with, easier to talk about and easier to manage ourselves. The best advice I can give is to find a great counsellor and talk to them - it really does help.
Sending lots of hugs

Lotsa & Hope - I am very lucky! He is a wonderful gorgeous man who I am lucky to have met when I did! We met in our late twenties after both having failed relationships that we both put a lot of effort into but our partners didn't appreciate so we are perfect for each other and appreciate & value every little gesture made by the other (down to asking the other one if they want anything when your up or getting something to eat or drink for yourself - something my ex never thought to do or running a bath for each other ... its amazing to feel so loved and connected to another .. Married 5yrs next month .... and now the cherry on the cake as we get to bring a little bit of us into the mix!

Not feeling too great, ms is still plaguing me and now I have some kind of virus that's making me feel awful. I know the end result will make it all worth it but I am finding it very hard to enjoy being pregnant. Take care all

That's so beautiful Jay. I read a quote the other day that said:
"The best thing a Father can do for his child is to love his mother."
Makes me smile.
Sorry you're feeling so crappy amps. I wouldn't enjoy feeling sick all the time either. xx
23-10-2013 11:00 #329
Amps are you still taking a pregnancy multi? My Ob told me yesterday to stop taking them and the extra folic acid I was on. She said they really only want you to be on them for the 3 months before falling pregnant and the first 3 months of pregnancy. If there's anything in particular you're deficient in then you can take specific supplements for that (low vit D for example).
I experimented with taking my tablets at different times of the day and it made no difference to my morning sickness. I didn't take the preg multi or folic acid at all yesterday, and this morning is the first time I haven't felt like I needed maxalon to prevent me from being sick

Firstly hugest of hugs to both hposs and seahorse. I can't imagine what you are both going through right now and I'm so sorry for your losses. Take care of yourselves. What some f the ladies have suggested in spoiling yourselves at this time sounds lovely.
Sorry far too much to catch up on for personals but ill try and pop in more often now we are trying to get back to normality.
Been two weeks tomorrow since mum left us and still feels like a bad dream some days. Thanks all for your support throughout x
