I'm using pigeon bottles and teets with my twins. Ive noticed as the teets age they do leak more.

That being said T1 doesn't leak from the mouth but T2 does and it doesn't matter what teets/bottles I use. It's just the shape of his mouth. I hear your pain!

As a side note I've just bought the y teets and they are still pigeon but are made differently and T2 who leaks doesn't feed as well with them.

Do you mean the teat is leaking at the bottle or bubs mouth?? If the latch onto the bottle isn't good then milk escaping might occur. This could be because the teat you're using is too fast.

Thanks for replys everyone. It's leaking at the bottle end not the baby's mouth. We are using medium teats as the slow teats were too slow for my boys. Definitely always putting the cap on tightly as I was advised this can help slow the flow down slightly so it's not too fast. I've been using pigeon teats and the bottles. I know teats usually need replacing after a month but we've only been using them for a couple of weeks.

You are right about the collar. .. The tightening does affect the flow (I learnt that the hard way!!)
Sounds strange. ..I've been using pigeon since bub was 3 months (she's 10 months now) and not had this problem. I've replaced the teats to change flow speed... but not otherwise.
I can't figure it out why. Are you using wide neck or slim neck? Maybe it's leaking where the little hole vent is. . maybe its split or something??
