Psyllium husk is what works everytine for me but you have to wait a few days and then keep taking it so you stay regular. Pears help too.

Prune juice makes your stomach contract (like laxatives do) so be careful. I bought some tried it once and didn't use it. I have a glass of pear juice at night and in the morning I can feel I need to go. Buy good quality pear juice - I buy Greenwood Orchads Pear Juice from an organic shop. $6.50 for a big bottle.
For breakfast I have All-Bran with one tablespoon of psyiulim husk
