I have met quite a few. I have travelled a few times by plane and long distance train to meet up with people. I even helped a hubber meet her neighbour finally and they have been together for quite a few years.

I haven't met anyone. There's a couple I wouldn't mind meeting, they are on my fb. They are interstate though. One day.....

Many years back, the qld Hubbers had quite regular meetups, normally dinners. Most aren't members here anymore but I am still fb friends with alot and I know some of them have remained really close .
I found out I knew someone on here that I went to school with. She realised who I was and messaged me. Was amazing!
My dig for dd2 went for a trip to Melbourne together last year too.

Yep, just the one IRL for me ().
It was very nerve wracking....it was well worth it and look forward to doing it again soon. It actually felt like we'd been friends for ages, because of our similarities through threads!
Also have another lovely gibber on Facebook who I'm yet to meet, but hope to soon

I started by adding a few to fb. Than a local hubber needed a little help ( poo on the carpet a interstate visitor arriving in a hour and no car to get a cleaning product) i had what they needed so I went to their house knocked on the door handed her the cleaner and said i had to go I had dinner in oven and took off.
We later meet properly at a meet up, we had a few play dates after that. She has since move away. Out of the 4 hubbers at the meet up I have stayed in touch with 3.
