I have hubbers on fb and if we live in close (enough) proximity we eventually meet. And the ones who live far away we just have online friendships. (Cause im not a part of any of the cool groups that have awesome meet ups) -_-

I have never met any hubbers in real life and I would probably be too shy to! I live in a regional town so I wouldn't imagine that many people live close to me. I think it would probably be easier if you live in a major city to catch up with people. I'm a big sook though and would be super nervous!

I went to a few meet ups organised through threads. Meet some awesome people and some not so awesome - it really does require throwing some caution to the wind. I get hugely nervous meeting strangers and it takes a lot of mental preperation and bravely for me to go through with it.
Those who are too far away to meet I have as Facebook friends - although I wait for people to add me as I fear rejection.

I met through the single mums section. Can't remember exactly how it happened, but I met a bunch of them at the park. Among others, I've met SPC, Fearless Leader, Mrs Awesome and others whose usernames escape me. It's very surreal meeting hubbers IRL!

I arranged meet ups on here way back in 2005/2006 in the days of a different username.
I'm still in contact with a few mums from back then, mostly just online as I moved away interstate.
Apart from back then I went to one meet up organised by someone else but they all knew each other already so I felt pretty out of place.
Other than that I haven't really bothered or found anyone that I really connect with but I'm not too fussed either way.
