Default Annoyed...silly reason but still annoyed

I have been sitting here for 30 mins watching the front yard waiting for someone due at 10am to collect a chest of drawers i advertised on facebook..

i know its petty and its only 30 mins but why cant ppl be punctual or at least call ( she has my number) or even send me a fb message to say a) not coming b) running late?

to me its common courtesy to let people know ...

I will wait until 11 then if not here or no word from her , i will send a message..

    ok whinge over

I get your frustration! I finished work early a couple of months ago because someone was coming around to collect something I had avertised.. I ended up messaging them when they were an hour late and they messaged back saying they weren't coming because something had come up but would message me again the next day to arrange to come by then..

I really question selling things now. I get so many - Oh I want this, but can you hold it until Friday next week for me. Makes me really nervous turning people away to hold it for someone else!

I have gone to get items before and the person I was collecting from was nowhere to be found and didn't msg to say change of time. Cortesy works both ways. Also if I ask for something and don't have money I will say im payed on this day and if item is still available I will buy then but if someone else wants it sell to them

The solution is to give them bank details to pay for it now. (I would prehold it for 24 hours to allow the payment to go through, and then be willing to hold it for them to collect at the more convenient time after payment had already been received.)
