Hi ladies - just wondering if anyone can recommend spending the $$s to get an after pregnancy belly band - the ones that are supposed to help everything look flatter and help things get back to normal.
Looking for any type of feedback please - did they work for you? If they didn't, why not etc etc. thanks!

I've been wondering about these too - my sisters-in-law are Asian and it's common practice to bind the torso after birth. And they definately have nice trim tums very soon (well everything is tiny, so maybe that's just genetic)!

I had a belly bandit, only used it a few times. I found it a bit uncomfortable and awkward, but in saying that I had my baby mid January so it was hot and I'm very short in my torso. i felt like everything went back by itself pretty quickly

Thanks natskyn!! It'll be the build up/wet season here in darwin so super hot and humid.... Maybe I'll just let things settle down themselves like they did last time

I used the Signature Cinch from Figure 8 everyday from day 1 PP for at least 10 hours a day for 6-8 weeks with my first bub and will definitely use it again. It gave lots of back support especially for bf and definitely helped me achieve a flatter stomach/put my muscles back in record time and repaired my separation. http://www.figure8maternity.com/view...fm?pid=1162700

Bumping this thread as am also wondering what everyone has used and what worked well. Has anyone used the Bellyco postnatal belly wraps? Looking at the bamboo ones as will need something breathable during summer.

I had one, bamboo for the heat in Darwin, but it was still too hot and bulky and uncomfortable. It takes 9months for your body to change and grow a baby, give it time to get back to normal, then work on it, there are no quick fixes
