It doesnt even feel like we do holidays. Still gotta pack lunch everyday for DS and leave at same time for vacation care. He does usually have a good time though and he is going away at end of next week so he is looking forward to it.

I love them. The first week, my boy is away, and I'll miss him so much.

I love school holidays. I get to sleep in, no school lunches to make, no going out for drop off and pick up, no washing worries making sure all uniforms are clean....and the kids do the housework for pocket money

I haven't got school aged boys yet. And holidays really don't effect me. Other then maybe the number of people at the shopping centre that can be chaotic.

I love the holidays no having to be at a place at a certain time.

I loathe them at the moment, my DS is not school age yet, so school holidays mean packed shopping centres, teenagers walking in a row and struggling to get round them with a pram, busy parks full of older kids on the toddler equipment, no parking spaces anywhere. No soccer for DS to go to. We seem to spend more time inside trying to avoid crowds.

Mixed feelings from me as I'm a part time teacher with no school aged children.
It's good because I don't have to rush those 3 mornings a week. I still take DS1 (4yrs) to daycare/kinder later than usual 2 days a week so I can spend quality time with DS2 (19m).
The only bad thing is shopping centers, parks, play centers etc are more packed than usual.
