Do you love the them or do you hate them?
I LOVE them.
I love spending time with the kids
I love sleeping in to 7 or 8 in morning
I love not having to watch the clock for pick up
I love not having to do drop off or pick up
No school lunches to make
School holidays are my idea of heaven.

Like and hate.
Dozing until about 7 ish
No rush in morning or afternoon
Relaxed routine during days, can stay up a little late
Whatever for snack it lunch - can be silly and creative in the kitchen
When the kids just won't get along!
If I can't get just 5 mins to go to the toilet
I guess all up more like than hate

yeah I like being able to spend the time with DD. Its always fun.
She is a little social butterfly though - so always involves playdates and meeting up with friends as if she was at school

I like the fact I don't have to pack bags and lunches, I don't have to get up early, I don't have to tell the kids a million times to get out of bed & get dressed.
I'm not a fan of the constant arguments and punch ups, the 'mum, I'm hungry' that I hear about 50 million times throughout the day, and the extra mess that gets made.

I embrace them for all the mentioned reasons. It is like going back to having babies before the circus of school began.
I love that we can stay in and chill out together. The bonding we do by spending loads of time together. That the baby gets to sleep for as long as needed without having to be woken up for school pick up.
We travel a lot during the year and it's HARD work for the Mumma bear but I know it is totally worth it and we are super lucky that we have the opportunity.
I love the Xmas holidays the most because we don't travel as much as the other holidays and mostly stay in swimming and snuggling on the couch.

I love love love them. Might have something to do with the fact that DH and I are teachers so it means the whole family is home

My baby is only 7 months old but I LOVE school holidays for the reduction in traffic on the roads, my trip to work is reduced from an hour to as little as 30 minutes in school holidays :-D

I'm a bit of a mixture. On one hand I love the no homework, no organising lunches and uniforms, plus having time with them. But then the kids drive me a bit batty
Both DH and I are studying and we have assignments due in the holidays so it's going to be a slog finding things to do with them plus getting work done.
