Default Extra battery for ipad 2?

I have an ipad 2 and the battery does not last long enough.

We recently went on an overseas holiday and on the way there, Malaysian airlines had the videos in the back of the seats of the aircraft, so my 3 year old was entertained with movies and cartoons. on the way home, there was only a central video screen which showed an Asian language movie, so my daughter played with the ipad, however the battery did not last long.

Can anyone recommend a device that will extend the battery life of the ipad 2. ( ie an extra battery to plug in, or something similar?)

-make sure you are closing all extra apps, as having too many apps on will sap your power (do this by double clicking the home button, and then holding down an app till they all wobble, and a little x appears - click all the little x's to close out of the programs). if you're letting a toddler play with it, you need to do this regularly!

you can get external battery packs, but i'm not sure where.
i have a little one that recharges my phone, but does nothing for my ipad unfortunately.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear, I am after an external battery pack for my ipad.

Any recommendations of a product that is suitable, or where to buy one online?

Google iPad battery extender. I know you can get them on Amazon and a few other places overseas if you are willing to pay the cost?
