    Have you seen a Dr yet? I think unplanned pregnancy is scary at any age, i am going through it now, but as people say babies come when they want to.

    Ok thanks for asking. Seeing as period is now 10 days late and I've had 8 positive tests I'm thinking I can relax about the ovarian cancer fear and try and adjust to the being pregnant idea. That is proving to be quite hard. Especially for my partner. We're kind of working through it though I just want to avoid thinking about it. I've not see a doctor yet as got 2 kids full time during school holidays and we are really not ready for them to find out. I'll be there first day back of school!

    Hcg is also elevated in women approaching menopause which might be an alternative explanation other than pregnancy for your positive result and irregular cycle.

    Go see your doctor for an examination and a blood hcg.
