    My doc said three months max and then a break due to it thinning your lining or something? If this cycle is not successful I cant take a third consecutive month. I think I will just give IVF one last go in July after a much needed break.

    It does get better. At least it did for me. The first month I said to DH I can't do this!!! but the headaches lessened a lot the 2nd month, and there was none by the 3rd. The first was terrible for ovary pain at ovulation as well. But again, it got better.

    Hang in there. It's a difficult drug with lots of side effects.

    What about night sweats??? Mine are intolerable.

    That is the only one I don't really get, surprisingly. My main ones, and the one I have today on cd3 is headaches, tiredness and nausea and the terrible ovulation pain mid cycle. Strap yourself in for that one, it's a bit ouchie

    I'm just about to start my 4th cycle of it this week... Gee I'm looking forward to getting all those side effects again!


    DH'30: all good
    Me 32: endo and anovulation
    TTC: since January 2012
    1st cycle 50mg clomid: no ovulation
    2nd cycle 100mg clomid: ovulation and m/c
    3rd cycle 100mg clomid: no ovulation
    4th cycle 150mg clomid: ..........to be continued........

    My FS said it does thin the lining over a period of time and said I should have a response within 4 - 6 cycles because sometimes it takes 4 cycles to get things going! He also said if it doesn't work by then, it probably won't work at all.
