my name is Tiggylig and I am currently considering going overseas to find an egg donor. I am googling like crazy, as you can imagine, and I am currently torn between New Life Thailand and CRM in Zlin. It would be terrific to find out if anyone out there has been to Thailand and used a Caucasian egg donor there. The clinic flies the donor in from europe and you pay their medical expenses and flight costs, etc. That makes it all a bit more expensive and scary. I would feel better if I could hear from someone who has made this journey before me, and found success.
I know Zlin is a good clinic, but it seems so far away...
Any thoughts from you fellows on the battle front most welcome.

I was lurking a bit but just had to join to post as seems not much people here have done the Thailand egg donor thing. As I have said on another post I have read many having donor eggs in Thailand. Some being intended parents and others doing their egg donation there.
We are in the similar boat however I haven't looked as far as Czech yet.
I have read people using 'New Life' agency. I emailed them and got their password and they have a great variety of egg donors both Thai and Caucasian. I am waiting for clinics I have read about to get back to me which Agents they use or who does their egg donation co-ordination.
Their clinics seem excellent from what I have read from ladies from other forums. I am worried though on the testing of disease as some blood tests don't show up things for weeks to come. What if the egg donor recently was with someone and became infected yet it wouldn't show till later..do they abstain? doesn't seem feasible. I read on one clinics website that they have a more accurate test for HIV...I don't know if anyone can reassure me on this?
So where we are at is waiting back from clinic as to more agents...I have a few and I guess it's finding the right egg donor with whom to use. OH yeh and finding out on the HIV testing dilemma.
Being close is good as airfare is less as well as accommodation. If it doesn't work the first fresh cycle atleast you can go back. Anyone else..

There is a lovely lady on the South African egg donor thread that has just got back from Thailand and she had her donor flown in from South Africa. Maybe read through that thread
I am currently looking at Prague and Zlin as possible candidates I did a cycle in Cape Town in July that was a BFN.

Bokkie - you are a true gemstone. On behalf of all those who have had to struggle and go down the donor route I thank you with all my heart. I look at my precious little man every day and thank the universe for the generosity of my beautiful Sth African donor. Much love to you. Xx
