What are the little things that make you smile? Here's a few of mine.
In no order-
Using fresh linen- getting into bed with newly cleaned sheets, that first dry with a fresh towel, the feeling of a fresh bath mat under foot.
The way DD2 looks right into my eyes trying to engage me in the middle of the night. Never fails.
The sun being out but not too hot yet.
The smell of a just watered lawn, the smell of birthday candles being blown out and the smell of rain coming.
The sight of a clean house- especially if it wasn't me who cleaned it

Love fresh linen on my bed too.
Love a clean and tidy house.
Love a warm spring day and a picnic lunch.
Love DD3 who at 7 months pats me. I interpret as telling me she loves me.
Love snuggling on the couch with all my children.

Love when the dirty clothes basket is empty.

Hearing my children giggle.
watching a summer storm roll in on my back deck with a beer in hand with dh after a stinking hot day.
watching my children do things for the first time and seeing the looks on their faces.
relaxing in a deep hot bath with candles and soft music after I've tucked the kids in bed and realising how sore and tired my body is.

I love the smell of rain
The sound of DDs laughter when she and her daddy are being silly (and when she farts and thinks it's funny!)
The way my dog just sneaks her head into my lap for pat
The smell of a brand new book with crisp clean pages just waiting to be read

When DD bounces up and down on both feet when she's excited and happy. I know it's going to stop soon but I just love it.

When DD gets excited because her baby brother has woken up.
When DS looks at me,daddy or DD and his whole face lights up and he smiles and lets out a little coo or squeak.
Waking up and realising I can go back to sleep because DH has gotten up with the children.
A clean house (its a rarity that last 5 minutes).
Ben and Jerry's clusterfluff ice cream
Sinking into my comfy king size mattress
Sitting on the beach

Just wondering around the library.
Chatting to ds1 about different things he has made.
Looking at the clouds with ds2, or just walking around with him. He has started saying 'its a beautiful day mum' when we do this.
Having a cup of tea.
The feeling you get (well I do at least) when I switch off the vacuum, it's finished.
