I did it recently, thought the drink was awful but I don't drink soda so found it horribly sweet. No MS during my pregnancy but that 1hr was tough, I felt quite sick but was fine again after a few hours. Awaiting results but desperately hoping I don't have GD!

Got my results this week. Im being treated for GD. My level was on the cutoff. I have to see the dietician and get the thingo to check my bsl. They said after a few weeks my levels might be ok so I can stop testing.

    Fasting was 5.5
    1hr was 9.2

I think you will find that your levels are fine given your 2 hr was 6.0
your fasting is the only abnormal level. And as you said its borderline.

My 2 hour was 11.3!!! Yet my fasting was 4.0mmol

Yeah, Some women need to adjust diet some dont. My endocrinologist said my diets fine I knew it would be in my gd book the hospital gave me I already eat everything they reccomend my diet is pretty low gi and with me its purely a hormonal thing. I remember about 7 years ago I sat in for uni on a gd education class run by the hospital where they go through foods and whats best and mothers there were drinking upwards of 2 ltr coke, juice, cordial, tubs of icecream. In these cases diet has to be adjusted first.
